Anya Kopotilova was born and raised in Russia where she played the violin throughout her school years, and graduated with BA in Linguistics. She moved to USA in 2002 and lived in Maryland and California before settling in Colorado in 2007. Anya became involved in YVC when her children joined choir in 2013. She soon began serving as a Rehearsal Assistant for TrebleMakers, Choristers and Brio. In 2019 Anya joined YVC team as a registrar. Anya is working with parents and singers on a variety of tasks from registration to uniforms and fundraisers. Her favorite part of her job is to make singers and their families feel at home at YVC. Outside of Young Voices, Anya is also a children’s books illustrator and an aspiring author.
