Chrys Harris

Festival Founder & Director

Chrys Harris is the Founder and Festival Director of Sing A Mile High (SAMH) International Children’s Choral Festival as well as the Program Director and Tour Director for Young Voices of Colorado. A native of Wales, Chrys has a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music, a Certificate of Choral Management from Chorus America and a Master of Nonprofit Management degree from Regis University. Chrys created the Young Voices Yearbook and the Young Voices leadership program with its Choir Council and Young Ambassadors. She has created and directed Young Voices tours to seven U.S. states including Hawaii and to 13 foreign countries, including a tour of northern Europe which culminated in Young Voices’ solo concert in Notre Dame Cathedral. Chrys’s innovations for Young Voices include the SAMH vision and its highly successful implementation.
